It is a safety protocol at our hotel, similar to airports and public spaces, to have unattended bags checked out if they are left in public spaces. I was given information regarding your bag being left in the hallway by our hotel team overnight. I'm sorry to hear that a move to another room wasn't more convenient as it appears your calls came at a later hour in the evening. We certainly do understand that temperature control within the room is necessary to ensure a comfortable night sleep. It appears as though your room was experiencing a heating issue as turning off the unit itself should have cooled down the room.
